Hi! I’m Bianca DeCarli,

I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and I’m currently a graduation candidate at UNC School of the Arts with a BFA in Design and Production, and a concentration in Scenic Design. I started my career as a scenic designer in high school, where I was thrown into the deep end by my art teacher.
My background is predominantly in the fine arts, where I developed a plethora of skills: profiency in color pencil, charcoal, acrylic and oil paint, gouache, watercolor, color theory, portraiture, Adobe Photoshop and Procreate. In my work I evoke emotion into the viewer with my strong color pallets and diving deep into the subject matter. I apply this evocative feeling into my current designs to create immersion into the environment.
Outside of designing I enjoy reading, writing, and continue my passion for the fine arts as emotional expression.
